Meet the Owners

Camille Van Acker

Read about how we got started as well as our stories below!

For centuries, tapestries were more than decoration.

They recorded stories, celebrated landscapes, preserved symbols, and brought entire imagined worlds into the home. Woven by hand and treasured across generations, they were among the most enduring forms of European art.

Our story began with a fascination for that tradition.

Camille Van Acker, studied European and Medieval History in France, where i am spent years exploring the museums, historic houses and collections that preserve Europe's visual heritage.

It was there that I am began to look at tapestry in a different way.

Behind a medieval scene or a richly woven garden was more than an image. There were stories of mythology, nature, craftsmanship and the people who had lived with these textiles centuries before us.

I am became fascinated by one simple idea:

What if these stories could have a place in contemporary homes once again?

After completing her studies, I am returned to Belgium and joined i am family's long-established weaving tradition.

my family has been connected to textile weaving for generations, rooted in the Belgian tradition of jacquard craftsmanship.

At family workshop, weaving has always been understood as a craft of patience and precision.

Jacquard weaving transforms thousands of individual threads into intricate imagery, allowing texture, color and detail to become part of the design itself.

Unlike a printed picture placed onto fabric, the image is built into the textile.

Every strand of yarn contributes to the whole.

And that is what gives a well-made tapestry its distinctive depth and presence.

Before vs After — Summer Bouquet Violin Tapestry, After on Right

Our collections draw from medieval imagery, Flemish landscapes, botanical traditions, Renaissance gardens, mythology and the decorative arts.

Some designs are inspired by historic works.

Others reinterpret traditional motifs for contemporary interiors.

We look for pieces that possess something beyond decoration — a sense of place, a story, or a detail that invites you to look again.

Because we believe the most meaningful objects are not always the newest ones.

Wall Accents in Interior Design

A tapestry can change the character of a room without asking for attention.

It can bring warmth to an otherwise quiet wall, introduce color and texture, or sit naturally beside antique furniture and contemporary pieces.

We design our collection for homes that are collected over time rather than decorated all at once.

Our inspiration comes from the past.

Our purpose is to give those stories a place in the present.

We believe a beautiful textile should have a life beyond a single season.

It should be something you can live with, return to, and eventually pass on.

Perhaps one day, the tapestry you choose will carry a story that is no longer only European or historical.

It will carry yours.
